The new Automate range has been designed to align with Acmeda’s S45 system, using a 35mm motor, says Acmeda general manager Adam Licciardi.

“Acmeda saw its task as bringing motorisation to a wider customer base by making it simpler and more accessible to the general market. Motorisation has historically been a high end or premium product that was either too expensive or too technical for the general fabricator and installer, with complex projects reserved for the professionals.”

“Nowadays it seems that new motor brands come on the market focused on option after option, making them too cumbersome for the everyday user,” he added. “Acmeda’s new Automate range is focused on these users, with one motor that seamlessly fits into their S45 hardware system, with two remote options, a one channel and multi-channel, to control multiple blinds. The Automate S45 is a 6Nm motor with an in-built radio receiver and the joys of electronic limit settings, doing away with the tedious mechanical limit.”

The motor also comes with a five year manufacturer and Acmeda backed warranty.

Acmeda’s motorisation range will soon expand further, Licciardi confirms, with its S35 range aligned with a battery operated motor, a larger 45mm motor for its S60 and external ranges, and the launch of the Automate Q quiet motor collection.
