The Netherlands originated company, which began an expansion into North and Latin America with the establishment of its subsidiary in Miami just over a year ago, now aims at further developing its market presence in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

From a new head office in Singapore, the company’s new Asia Pacific director Dave Chang, appointed 1 September, will oversee the Coulisse brand’s entry into selected Asia Pacific markets.

Cheng brings with him over a decade of experience in all facets of the window blinds industry including global trade, manufacturing and production at major blind companies, as well as expertise in screen fabrics.

Coulisse had earmarked new markets in the Asia Pacific region as offering strong growth potential for the company over the next decade, Cheng indicated.
