Innovations enhance Luxaflex panel glides

Luxaflex marketing manager Genevieve Marshall said new additions included matching translucent and blockout fabrics, sunscreens and textured and interwoven fabrics.

The company was also witnessing a move towards wand operated panel glides due to their ease of operation and the benefits of child safety, she said.

“Consumers are after a sophisticated look without blind cords getting in the way. Luxaflex Panel Glide Blinds offer simply that, a contemporary shade with sleek design, available in the latest seasonal colours.”

All Luxaflex fabrics available in panel glide style blinds were fully tested to suit Australian conditions, with many enhanced through the application of trademarked Duraguard Antimicrobial Protector to prevent stains, and Sanitised Antimicrobial Protection to prevent the spread of mould, mildew, fungi and bacteria.

With Hunter Douglas’ Luxaflex Panel Glide Blinds available in a range of fabrics, including; glare reducing Greenscreen Balance 3 percent Sunscreen; translucent Palais fabric; multidimensional Mauritius fabric; linen textured Caspien fabric or luminescent Portobello Fabric, the brand’s fabric range continued to evolve, Marshall said.

“All in all, the Luxaflex fabric range has over 210 fabric SKUs currently, but in true style, we are constantly innovating and adding new fabrics to the range.
