The Pittwater Collection includes two designs in the collection; Pittwater is a 60 per cent linen and 40 per cent polyester in 260cm, while Queenscliff is 75 per cent bamboo and 25 per cent polyester in 310cm.

Amanda Stewart, Charles Parsons’ (NZ) brand manger for homewares, says these designs present the market with soft translucent sheers with natural yarn details. Also in the Living Studio range are three new sheers that have been developed through innovative yarn manipulation techniques, including engineered sculpturing and crushing.

The effect of these techniques is to create a delicate volume.

Elle Sheer, a Rococo medallion design used in a contemporary way, is 75 per cent polyester and 25 per cent rayon in 300cm. Salvadore is a contemporary 300cm continuous sheer, created with an open weave texture and modern 'burnout' shapes to establish a gauze appearance.

It is made from 75 per cent polyester and 25 percent linen. Another sheer called 'Shindi' is being promoted as suitable for many interior styles, in particular, a modern apartment. Its composition is 40 per cent polyester, 35 per cent linen and 20 per cent rayon.
